Creating Focus in the Midst of Chaos

Chaos has become a normal way of life in today’s business world. Professional and personal pressure continues to increase and has become a way of life that can be a real challenge. Stress and working long hours are not the obligatory results of working in a chaotic situation. Success is in working effectively in the midst of this chaos, not in trying to make it stop. Priority focus, professional perspective and personal balance are keys to working powerfully in the midst of chaos.

In this presentation, participants will become more aware of their normal reaction to business chaos and explore more powerful perspectives for dealing with periods of rapid change.

Participants learn how to ride the wave of daily business chaos in a powerful way:

  • Understand the growing trend for ongoing, rapid change in the business environment
  • Explore the various perspectives for dealing with external and internal chaos during rapid change
  • Learn the critical focus factors and techniques for rising above the daily pressures of high change periods
  • Learn how avoiding “NO” can impact your professional success

Rediscovering Your Passion for Performance

Loss of passion occurs when our life moves too far from our intended center. Life takes us there when we aren’t looking. Our careers often chose us, rather than us choosing them. Career growth often directs us, rather than us directing it. We often use busyness to cover our inner voice and artificial adrenalin to keep us going. We use the “shoulds” of life to deny ourselves the right to our own passionate exploration. Perceived barriers have the power to stop us from getting what we want. Some barriers are really excuses that hide the real barriers and keep us from moving forward.

In this interactive workshop, participants will explore and tap into their long-buried passions to improve personal and professional performance.

Learn how exploration of long-buried passions can result in more energy and verve in all areas of life:

  • Understand that passion isn’t lost, it just went underground
  • Discover the secret fountain to passion that is often found in our past
  • Learn what internal barriers prevent you from following your passion
  • Learn how to use actions to give your passion a voice and create a dream team to give it life

  • Determine your own behavioral style and how it affects how others perceive you
  • Understand your personal bias towards certain behavioral styles
